Notes on this version

In this version, konfipay implements Verification of Payee (VoP for short). This is being introduced as part of the EU Instant Payment Regulation and offers greater protection against fraud because the names of payees are checked before the payment is transferred.

Payee verification is implemented in konfipay via konfipaySign. As a user, you can also choose to opt out of payee verification at your own risk and continue to use the usual workflows for payment transfers. We have provided two tutorials on how to deactivate payee verification for your entire client (globally) or at the bank account level.
