Version 4.14.0 (EN)

Publish: 23 March 2026

About This Version

This version focuses on improvements in two central areas: performance and payment capture. The performance optimizations affect the display of bank accounts and payment partners across all views – for more information, see "Improvements" below. In payment capture, we have focused on improved clarity, so you can see at a glance which payments have already been recorded; additional details on this can also be found under "Improvements".

Improvements

  • Faster display of large data volumes: The display of bank accounts and payment partners has been noticeably accelerated in both tables and selection lists. Previously, whenever you opened such a view, all entries were loaded at once – for example, if you had 5,000 bank accounts, all 5,000 would load, even if only the first 25 bank accounts were visible in the table. From this version onwards, konfipay loads only the entries you are actually viewing at that moment, while also taking your filter, search, and sort settings into account. The result: significantly shorter loading times and smoother operation, even with very large data volumes. This change will be rolled out gradually to other areas in future versions, particularly to additional master data as well as payment transaction data such as payments, account transactions, and PayPal transactions. Note on filtering: As part of this change, the advanced column-specific filters in the affected views are temporarily unavailable. We have initially removed this option in favor of performance and are already working to restore it in one of the next releases.

  • New structure for payment capture: The payment capture view has been redesigned. Instead of the previous selection via dropdown menus, you now find a dedicated tab for each payment type (e.g., transfer, real-time transfer, express payment, corporate direct debit, basic direct debit, international transfer). For transfers and real-time transfers, there are additionally subordinate tabs for individual payment purposes (standard, payroll, capital formation, donation, tax office payment, other). Each tab directly displays the number of payments already recorded. This way, you can see at a glance which payment types have payments and how many – without having to manually try different combinations beforehand.

  • Replacement of the previous EBICS communication protocol: The extended EBICS communication protocol introduced with Update 4.13.0 becomes the new standard and replaces the previous EBICS communication protocol. To avoid information loss and enable a smooth transition, both protocols were previously available in parallel. The extended protocol is now the new standard. The term 'extended' is therefore no longer used.

Bug Fixes

  • Sporadic server errors (500) during API calls: We have observed sporadic server errors during API calls for some clients. With this update, we have implemented some changes and improvements intended to reduce these errors. We will monitor the behavior and provide further updates promptly should the problems persist.
