Tags
Tags can be used in konfipay to mark data specifically and organize it better. Currently, only bank accounts can be assigned tags. This opens up various possible uses:
Structuring and grouping: Data records can be bundled according to common criteria.
Alternative search: Tags allow data records to be found more quickly, as they serve as additional search terms.
Permission management: Tags make it possible to control access rights—for example, by allowing certain user groups to see only data records with a specific tag or, conversely, by excluding them from access. For more information, see the info on content restrictions.
Tags in konfipay not only offer a flexible way to organize content, but also provide an effective tool for efficient content restrictions and permission management.
Users who are familiar with account groups from windata professional will find a similar concept in tags. While account groups were used exclusively to summarize bank accounts and an account could only belong to a single group, tags take a much more general and flexible approach.

Create tag
To create a tag, click Add at the top of the toolbar. Assign a Name to the tag. This should be as concise as possible, yet self-explanatory, so that you can maintain an overview even when data is tagged with multiple tags. The Description then allows for a detailed explanation of which data is grouped under this tag.
Under Tag type, you specify which data types can be assigned this tag and in which areas of konfipay this tag is applicable. Currently, only the Bank accounts tag type can be selected. However, this selection will be expanded in the future so that tags can also be used in other areas of konfipay.

Edit a tag
To edit a tag, select it from the list and click Edit in the toolbar. You can then make changes to the name, description, and tag type.
When you remove a tag ype (e.g., when bank accounts are removed as a tag type), this tag is also removed from all previously tagged bank accounts.
For example: If the Bank accounts tag type is removed, the tag is deleted from all previously selected bank accounts.
Delete tag
To delete a tag, select it from the list and click Delete in the toolbar. A tag can only be deleted if it is not in use. If you do not see an option to delete, check whether the tag is still being used somewhere.
