Task automation

General information

If desired, konfipay sync also performs certain tasks automatically. To set up this automation, select the tab Automation in konfipay sync. The button New allows you to set up the automation of a task.

Task automation

Under Task, first select the task to be automated in the list and name the automation process. If this list is empty, the task first needs to be defined under the tab Tasks.

Automated login

At Login, select the corresponding user account of your operating system under which the task is to be automated. If it is a domain account, tick the appropriate box and enter the domain name.

The button Current User automatically fills in the username of the user that is currently logged in.

Make sure that the selected user has sufficient read and write permissions in the corresponding directories.

Automation intervals

In the following, Interval determines the rhythm in which the task is to be repeated. Depending on the interval, you will be prompted to specify an exact start time and repetition time. The last item, Finish, once again summarizes the selected properties.

Once the tasks are set up and automated, there is no need to start konfipay sync separately - the automation works in the background.
