Modules

Modules are function packages that bundle related programme functions in konfipay. Modules can be tested and purchased independently of each other so that konfipay can be adapted to the individual needs of the client.

The administration start page provides an overview of the modules that are available for the client. The trial period for an enabled module can be started there, as can information on how to purchase it:

Available modules

The following modules are currently available:

konfipay (base module)

This module contains the basic functionality of konfipay for regular payment transactions. This includes the entry and transmission of payment orders, retrieval, processing and display of account transactions as well as the management of the associated master data. The following functions are also included:

• Exchange rates

• PayPal

• Import

• Payment providers

konfipaySign

konfipaySign offers functions for authorising payments according to the dual control principle. With konfipaySign, payments can be approved or cancelled within konfipay or via the Distributed Electronic Signature (VEU). Follow this link for more information on konfipaySign.

Country Module AT

Country Module AT provides access to Austria-specific functions and formats. These include, for example, tax office payments and the option of breaking down a batch booking into its individual items when displaying account transactions.

PSD2/FinTS module

The PSD2/FinTS module enables the use of PSD2/FinTS for bank communication. This also covers bank connections for which no EBICS access is available.

SFTP Module

The SFTP Module enables the automated exchange of files via SFTP. Files can be collected from an SFTP server and processed in konfipay, and files from konfipay can be transferred to an SFTP server.

Further information

• Modules currently have no effect on the API. The interfaces offered via the API are neither restricted nor extended by modules.

• Some program functions are required in several modules and are therefore available as soon as a module that requires this function has been activated. Example: The EBICS function is required for both the konfipay module and the konfipaySign module and is therefore available in both modules.

• Each module can be tested independently of other modules. As soon as the test period for a module has expired, only the functions that are an exclusive part of this module are deactivated. Functions that are required by several modules remain available as long as at least one of the modules has been activated or is still in the test period.

• On request, each module can be tested for 30 days.
